Bushiroad Creative's TOY MUSIC Vol. 1 Unleashes Sambomaster's Ultimate 9 Hits as Interactive Singing Capsule Toys

Capsule toys that make your smartphone sing! Japanese prize and toy manufacturer Bushiroad Creative has unveiled a fascinating new capsule toy series called "TOY MUSIC." The first wave of this series features the iconic rock band Sambomaster, celebrating 20 years since their debut, with a total of six unique figures.

Fans of Japanese dramas and music will undoubtedly be familiar with the Japanese rock band Sambomaster (サンボマスター). Comprising vocalist and guitarist Takashi Yamaguchi, bassist Yoichi Kondo, and drummer Yasushi Kiuchi, the trio formed in 2000 and has been active for over two decades. Their fame skyrocketed in 2005 after performing "Sekai wa Sore wo Ai to Yobunda ze", the theme song for the classic Japanese drama "Densha Otoko" ("Train Man"). Many of their subsequent singles have also been featured as opening or ending themes for popular anime series like "Naruto" and "Bleach."

The TOY MUSIC capsule toys from Bushiroad Creative are sculpted in the likeness of Sambomaster's three members. Each figure features a unique QR code on its base. After scanning the code with a smartphone and following the in-app instructions to place the designated figure on the phone, users can activate nine of Sambomaster's greatest hits, including "Sekai wa Sore wo Ai to Yobunda ze" and "Seishun Kyousoukyoku." What's more, by rotating the figure while it's placed on the phone, you can trigger DJ turntable-like sound effects, making for a truly engaging and fun experience.
