American toy brand Super7 has just unveiled a new release from the classic 1938 Disney animated short, "Brave Little Tailor": the "Mickey Mouse" 16-inch Supersize articulated vinyl figure! It is available for pre-order now on the official Super7 website, with an expected shipping window of Winter 2021.
Based on the German fairy tale "The Valiant Little Tailor," the 1938 Disney short "Brave Little Tailor" is set in a medieval kingdom terrorized by a giant. One day, Mickey the tailor swats seven flies with a single blow. Through a series of hilarious misunderstandings, the townspeople believe he has slain seven giants. The King dubs Mickey the "Royal Giant Killer" and sends him to defeat the actual giant threatening their lands. Despite the mix-up, Mickey uses his wits and tailoring skills to miraculously subdue the giant, ultimately turning him into a power source for a local amusement park.

Standing at an impressive 16 inches (approx. 40.6 cm) tall, this figure features a soft-goods light blue tunic and bright red shorts. Diverging slightly from the on-screen design, which featured a green belt, this version of Mickey comes with a brown, leather-like belt and pouch. While the iconic red feather for his cap isn't included, Super7 thankfully didn't forget his trusty pair of shiny silver scissors!
