BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS, a division specializing in collectible toys, has announced the first release from "Aura Battler Dunbine" for its METAL ROBOT Damashii series, which combines metallic paint finishes with die-cast frames. The "Bilbine" is slated for release in December 2021.
The Bilbine is a cutting-edge transformable Aura Battler developed by Na Country's technical team, based on the Dunbine. Queen Ceila bestowed it upon Sho Zama. This unit can transform into a highly mobile Aura Flyer and is equipped with powerful armaments like two Aura Cannons and an Aura Sword Rifle, making it adaptable to various combat ranges. However, with an Aura Power Coefficient of only 0.99, only an Aura Battler pilot with immense Aura Power, such as Sho, can truly master its top-tier performance.
The "METAL ROBOT Damashii Bilbine" is crafted with an entirely new sculpt based on the latest design blueprints. Nearly all exterior armor parts are painted, while die-cast metal is utilized for the internal chest structure, side gauntlets, and lower leg sections. Its insect-like twin wings on the back are molded with clear parts. This results in not only a striking appearance and robust joints but also a satisfyingly hefty feel when handled.
It can be posed in dynamic slashing stances using the included Aura Sword, Aura Sword Rifle, and effect parts. The wrist claws can be swapped with cable parts to recreate their firing action. The two Aura Cannons on the back feature independent articulation at their bases, allowing their muzzles to be aimed forward. Furthermore, the Aura Flyer transformation mechanism is fully reproduced!
