LA-based streetwear brand XLARGE is collaborating with veteran Japanese model maker TAMIYA. Their first joint product is the "Cyclone Magnum," the beloved car of protagonist Go Seiba from the manga "Bakusō Kyōdai Let's & Go!!", slated for release on July 31, 2021.
This collaboration utilizes TAMIYA's 2014 release, the "1/32 Cyclone Magnum Premium (AR Chassis)." The AR chassis is molded in metallic gray ABS plastic, offering high strength and easy maintenance, including bottom-access battery and motor replacement. The front and rear wings, along with the guide rollers, are made from low-friction resin. The body also features air intakes to help dissipate heat from the motor and batteries. Accessories such as a 3.5:1 super speed gear set and a motor are included.
The most distinctive feature is the all-new XLARGE collaboration design for both the outer box and the body stickers. These feature a wealth of graphics, including XLARGE's iconic gorilla logo, making it a highly collectible item!
