McFarlane Toys, the American toy manufacturer highly acclaimed for its 7-inch "DC Multiverse" action figure line in recent years, announced exciting news for DC fans yesterday (27th)! McFarlane will collaborate with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to create new DC Direct collectibles, with new releases anticipated to launch sequentially starting in 2022.

DC Direct, the DC collectibles division with over 20 years of history, has released numerous classic toy series, including action figures, artist-collaboration statues, and merchandise, all beloved by DC fans. However, during the massive Warner Bros. layoffs last August, DC Direct faced closure. The brand's "Batman: The Animated Series" action figures and the "Batman Black & White" statue series were particularly cherished by many collectors, making the news of its closure a significant disappointment.
Now, according to the announcement from McFarlane Toys, the newly integrated DC Direct, now under McFarlane, will continue to release new entries in the highly popular "DC Designer Series," "Batman Black & White," and "Harley Quinn Red, White & Black" statue lines. McFarlane will also manage DC Direct's current inventory. The revamped DC Direct, under the leadership of Todd McFarlane, is set to introduce an even wider array of new products. Collectors can anticipate wider availability for DC Direct products in the future, so keep an eye out!
