The collaborative large-scale sofubi figure, "Mecha God President Maoxiangluo-go," designed by three Taiwanese designer brands—Momoco Studio, SHON SIDE, and Robin Tang Antics—is finally making a powerful comeback! Following its metallic colorway reminiscent of a steel city, the figure now returns in its original color version, featuring a primary palette of red, blue, and yellow. It will debut on July 30, 2021, at 5:00 PM HKT on the Paradise online store.
Combining the iconic characteristics of the three designers' works, the 25 cm tall "Maoxiangluo-go" is inspired by the combining mecha and Sentai concepts from 90s Tokusatsu series. It features 8 points of articulation throughout its body. In addition to the main body being detachable to reveal the interior cockpit, the shield can also be freely equipped. Unlike the previous version, this eye-catching color scheme makes the intricate details of the mecha even more prominent, while the heavy, metallic feel of certain parts remains impressively rendered. Red: Hosuke is the source of power; Blue: Kozamaru is the vanguard of speed; Yellow: Hug-Hug Cat is the core of defense! It's brimming with that classic "big boy" nostalgia.
Meanwhile, the "Sentai Three Treasures," which has attracted many collectors with its palm-sized, adorable design, now appears with a fresh, pearlescent color scheme and looks incredibly fun when placed inside the Maoxiangluo-go's cockpit. Additionally, this version of the President also includes parts that can link with certain mechanical components, offering even more diverse play options.
