Following the first release of Gon Freecss and the second, Gon Freecss Green Glitter ver., Japanese toy maker HKDSTOY (Hikidashi Toy) is back with the highly anticipated third entry in their popular "HUNTER x HUNTER" series: the Killua Zoldyck Japanese Sofubi Figure. Priced at 8,800 JPY, this limited-edition collectible went on sale on their official website starting July 30, 2021, with shipments expected in late November.
Killua Zoldyck (キルア＝ゾルディック) is a pivotal character in "HUNTER x HUNTER," becoming one of protagonist Gon Freecss's closest friends during the 287th Hunter Exam. As a descendant of the legendary Zoldyck assassin family, Killua was rigorously trained in assassination techniques from a young age, mastering skills like tracking, enduring high-voltage electricity, and resisting poisons. He later developed the unique Nen ability to transform his aura into electricity.
The third release, "HKDSTOY HUNTER×HUNTER Killua Zoldyck," maintains the series' commitment to high-quality Japanese sofubi craftsmanship. Standing approximately 20 cm tall, the figure features a nostalgic body proportion and a clean, streamlined design. It faithfully recreates Killua's signature silver hair and his initial appearance, complete with his turtleneck and shorts. The hands offer simple articulation, giving the figure a distinct retro Japanese vinyl aesthetic.
