Good Smile Company's popular POP UP PARADE line, known for its affordable prices and quick release schedules, is expanding its lineup with characters from the hit anime "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann"! The new releases include the series protagonist Simon and the charismatic leader, "POP UP PARADE Kamina". Both are non-scale pre-painted PVC figures, priced at 3,900 Yen each and slated for a November 2021 release.
The one and only big bro, Kamina, hails from the underground Jeeha Village alongside Simon. Having been taken to the surface by his father as a child, he grew dissatisfied with the sunless life below and became the village's resident troublemaker. Fueled by passion and ambition, he breaks through to the surface and becomes the founder and first leader of Team Gurren. Kamina is not only overflowing with charisma but is also a walking quote machine, believing that any obstacle can be overcome with sheer fighting spirit—a philosophy that profoundly influences Simon's growth.
The "POP UP PARADE Kamina" is a non-scale PVC figure standing approximately 17cm tall. He is captured in a dynamic, high-energy pose, pointing to the sky, ready to pierce the heavens! The figure faithfully recreates Kamina's signature hairstyle, his iconic tattoos, and his cool outfit complete with the cape left by his father. His sunglasses are also removable, allowing for two distinct display options. Display him alongside the Simon figure to fully recreate the world of "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann"!
