The popular 3.75-inch sci-fi military-themed collectible series "Acid Rain" recently unveiled its new "Geist" squad, a combination of four figures and one beast. This article will focus on the animal character, the FAV-SP21 Gugees 1/18 scale articulated figure! It is slated for release in February 2022.
The Gugees is a docile mutated camel, named for the sound it makes. Like the Geists, Gugees emerged after the fall of the Estancian Empire and the subsequent desertification. Wild Gugees are adept at finding water sources, and the Geists track their footprints to plan routes. Many tribes also domesticate Gugees for agricultural production and transportation.
Gugees' fur is light, flexible, and oily, providing excellent insulation and waterproofing. During the annual sacrificial month, the Geists trim the Gugees' overgrown fur, collecting it to make outerwear as gifts for children to wear during coming-of-age ceremonies. After a Gugees dies, the Geists also utilize its remains for various purposes, such as valuing its horn powder as a precious secret medicine and transforming its blood into a high-grade tonic wine, exclusively enjoyed during the sacrificial month.
However, due to the high demand for "Gugees products" in the Gore District's black market, numerous poachers have entered the desert to hunt wild Gugees. Some well-equipped poachers even target Geist villages. The Geists execute these poachers and leave their bodies on the desert's edge as a warning.
