Paradise and The Little Hut Double Down to Create a New Art x Toy Experience

Since its establishment in 2005, Paradise has aimed to be a "paradise for toy enthusiasts," consistently offering a diverse selection of products and events. Mid-2020 marks the beginning of its 15th-anniversary celebrations, coinciding with a significant renovation and upgrade of its physical store. The brand has also officially unveiled a brand-new Paradise logo. The new design adopts a more mature, retro aesthetic, creating a simple yet cohesive look that retains elements and the spirit of the original while making the form more prominent. This update also strives for a clearer and more harmonious visual impression, offering a cleaner and more comfortable design for a new generation of consumers. Beyond reflecting the ambiance of the new store, this logo update, combined with the original products Paradise has launched in collaboration with various international artists over the years, will symbolize Paradise's future as a professional international brand.

Starting in 2005, Paradise transitioned from primarily offering US, Japanese, and Hong Kong-based toys to becoming a boutique toy store. Its mission was to convey a lifestyle of perfect trend design, ensuring that toy lovers could experience Paradise's unique atmosphere through the curated selections of owner Jones Fu. To challenge the outdated notion that toys are exclusively for children, Paradise began introducing more designer toy options in 2008 and has continuously hosted small exhibitions featuring international artists in-store. In addition to participating annually in the Taipei Toy Festival, the largest toy event in Taiwan, Paradise actively attends international toy shows such as San Diego Comic-Con, Designer Con, Thailand Toy Expo, Shanghai Toy Show, and Beijing Toy Show. The store has also successfully introduced popular brands among female collectors, including Medicom Be@rbrick and Sticky Monster Lab (SML), while beloved collector brands like How2work, Unbox Industries, and Toy0+ have always been staples on Paradise's shelves.

In 2017, through Jones's efforts, Paradise further expanded its offerings by partnering with his Hong Kong friend Howard of How2work to establish a new venture, The Little Hut. This collaboration aims to provide more services in the designer creation space, seamlessly connecting the toy world with art collectibles and offering consumers an unparalleled new experience. As part of its 15th-anniversary series, Paradise has launched a collection of collaborative commemorative items, marking a new milestone and featuring the brand's refreshed logo. The ongoing store renovation, which saw its soft opening delayed due to the pandemic, is now steadily progressing. The upcoming grand reopening event will feature an exciting collaboration with artist Kasing Lung, widely celebrated by collectors for his iconic Labubu and Zimomo characters. Following the official reopening, a long-anticipated commemorative item collaboration with artist Kila Chung is also planned. Furthermore, in conjunction with the newly opened Yoshitomo Nara exhibition, the "Y.N LAMP by Yoshitomo Nara" will also be available at Paradise. Be sure to stay tuned for official Paradise grand reopening announcements.
