Brazilian statue manufacturer Iron Studios today (30th) announced a new addition to their "Art Scale" series: the "E.T. & Elliot" 1/10 scale diorama statue, based on the classic American sci-fi film "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial"! Both a Regular and a Deluxe Edition will be released simultaneously, with an estimated shipping date in Q2 2022.
"E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" tells the heartwarming story of E.T., a kind alien stranded on Earth, and his friendship with a young boy named Elliot. The film is widely praised as "one of the greatest sci-fi films of all time." E.T.'s glowing long finger is his signature feature, and the classic line "E.T. PHONE HOME." became a widespread cultural phenomenon at the time.
Standing approximately 24 cm tall, this piece recreates the iconic scene where Elliot bikes with E.T. flying through the night sky. The diorama meticulously captures E.T. hidden in the bicycle basket, wrapped in a blanket, Elliot in his distinctive red hoodie, and the classic red and white bicycle. E.T.'s facial contours are finely sculpted, with bright, expressive eyes that look incredibly cute! The base depicts a forest scene, and the Deluxe Edition further enhances the display with a massive moon backdrop, making it incredibly immersive!
