Japanese toy brand 1000toys, in collaboration with Tsutomu Nihei, is set to release the latest addition to their highly popular "Toa Heavy Industries" action figure series: the female-type "Toa Heavy Industries Synthetic Human Female" (First Production Run) 1/12 scale action figure. Priced at 7,500 JPY, it is slated for an August 2021 release.
Designed by Japanese manga artist Tsutomu Nihei, the "Toa Heavy Industries Synthetic Human" series is canonically produced by the renowned fictional military-industrial corporation, Toa Heavy Industries, featured in works like "BLAME!" and "Knights of Sidonia." These figures boast advanced technological prowess and exquisite articulation, mimicking human forms while exuding a cold, emotionless, and lifeless aura, showcasing a unique cyborg appeal.
The female-type "Toa Heavy Industries Synthetic Human Female" (First Production Run) 1/12 scale action figure features distinct feminine aesthetics. Building upon the already high articulation of the Synthetic Human Male, its range of motion has been further improved! This allows for both sophisticated, intricate sculpting details and a highly flexible range of articulation. It comes with various interchangeable parts, including clenched fists (left/right), open hands (left/right), holding hands A and B (left/right), chest parts in S, M, and L sizes, hair, and a plain face. These accessories enable collectors to pose the figure in a wide array of dynamic and eerie stances. Additionally, a dedicated clip-type display stand, "H2O," is included, which can be attached between the figure's heels for enhanced stability.
