Brazilian statue manufacturer Iron Studios recently unveiled a new addition to their "Art Scale" series: a 1/10 scale full body statue of Chucky from the horror slasher film "Child's Play II"! It is scheduled to ship in the second quarter of 2022.
In the 1988 film "Child's Play," the psychopathic serial killer Charles Lee Ray, nicknamed "Chucky," used a voodoo ritual to transfer his evil soul into a popular "Good Guys" toy doll before being cornered and killed by police in a toy store. Thus, a seemingly cute and harmless toy was born, but one that harbored a murderous maniac.
In "Child's Play II," the sequel to "Child's Play," Chucky continued his killing spree and his plan to possess young Andy's body. Scenes like Chucky screaming while tearing off his own right hand, or the factory overflowing with "Good Guys" dolls, left a lasting impression on fans. The climactic moment where Chucky's mouth is stuffed with an air hose, causing him to inflate and explode, remains an iconic classic!
This piece stands approximately 15 cm tall and is inspired by the climactic factory scene at the Play Pals toy company from "Child's Play II." The killer doll Chucky, clad in his colorful striped shirt and overalls adorned with cute patterns, is captured in a dynamic pose, poised to strike. His right hand is depicted torn off and replaced with a knife, while his bloodied, menacing face and glowing blue eyes are faithfully recreated. The highly thematic base, featuring the doll-making machinery inside the factory, completes this terrifying display.
