KADOKAWA's toy brand, KDcolle (KADOKAWA Collection), is set to release the "Albedo Wing Ver." 1/7 scale PVC pre-painted complete figure from the popular light novel series "OVERLORD." The figure will retail for 29,700 JPY (tax included) and is slated for a March 2022 release.
Albedo is an NPC character created by the player "Tabula Smaragdina" within the in-game online game "YGGDRASIL." As a succubus, she serves as the Overseer of the Guardians of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. Albedo is a peerless beauty, possessing a charming face and an exquisite figure. Her abilities in combat, strategy, and even domestic tasks are all exceptionally high, earning her the moniker "The Pure-White Devil with a Gentle Heart." However, when she "goes dark," she can devolve into hysterical, violent, and exaggerated facial expressions, leading her rival Shalltear to mock her as a "Big-Mouthed Gorilla."
The "Albedo Wing Ver." 1/7 scale figure stands approximately 31 cm tall. Based on illustrations from the novel and character designs by artist so-bin, this figure masterfully captures Albedo at the moment she descends to earth, her jet-black wings fully unfurled. Her flowing long black hair is meticulously sculpted to convey a sense of movement in the wind, while her faint, subtle smile perfectly recreates the succubus's alluring and mysterious beauty. Her pure white attire and golden accessories feature intricate folds and delicate sculpting, accentuating her voluptuous figure. The black wings behind her boast meticulously detailed individual feathers, evoking the elegant flutter of her flight!
