Japan's official "Pokemon" theme store, POKEMON CENTER, today (August 5) announced a new product from the latest series, "Pokemon Sword/Shield": the "Leon & Charizard Pre-Painted Figure," slated for release in January 2022.
Pokemon Trainer Leon is the older brother of the protagonist's friend, Hop, and is renowned as the "undefeated" Galar League Champion. He remained unbeaten from the moment he ascended to the championship until the protagonist challenged him. His battle style, which involves giving his all regardless of the opponent, is widely beloved. Leon also actively resolves problems and incidents across the region, making him the most popular superstar in Galar and an idol for children. His only weakness, however, is his terrible sense of direction!.
The "Leon & Charizard Pre-Painted Figure" is produced by Japanese model maker Kotobukiya. Based on an illustration by Naoki Saito, the figure brings the impressive "Charizard Pose" to life in three dimensions. Standing approximately 25cm tall, it meticulously sculpts Leon's dynamic posture, his distinctive Champion attire, and Charizard's powerful, spread wings. The figure also faithfully recreates the various sponsor logos on Leon's cape through detailed printing.
