In celebration of the popular light novel "Spice and Wolf"'s 15th anniversary, Japanese manufacturer quesQ (Limited Company QuesQ) is releasing a stunning 1/7 scale figure of Holo, capturing her in a light and dreamy pose. The figure is priced at 18,480 JPY and was originally slated for an August 2022 release.
Authored by Isuna Hasekura and illustrated by Jyuu Ayakura, the light novel "Spice and Wolf" introduces its beloved heroine, Holo (ホロ). While she appears as a youthful girl around fifteen with pointed wolf ears and a fluffy wolf tail, she is, in fact, a mythical deity of harvest and fertility. Holo can reside within wheat grains and influence the weather to ensure bountiful crops. Known as the "Wise Wolf Holo," she possesses a calm, seasoned demeanor, vast experience, and profound wisdom, often playfully teasing or offering aid to the protagonist, Lawrence.
The "quesQ Holo" 1/7 scale figure stands approximately 23 cm tall, beautifully capturing Holo's enchanting, cheerful smile. Her dynamic pose shows her gracefully lifting her off-white dress with one hand, allowing her long hair and skirt to billow as if caught by a gentle breeze. The intricate sculpting of her ears, tail, and other fur details features delicate textures and dynamic curves, imbuing the entire piece with a vibrant sense of motion. Her fair, bare feet rest upon a beautifully detailed grassland base adorned with blooming flowers, creating an aesthetic that is both elegant and undeniably cute.
