Taipei's Paradise toy store in the East District recently unveiled a major renovation and upgrade. Marking its 15th anniversary and grand reopening, Paradise proudly welcomed back the extensive works of renowned Hong Kong artist Kasing Lung, hosting the special solo exhibition "Step" as its official reopening event!
“Step” - Kasing Lung Exhibition
Exhibition Dates: August 7 – August 22, 2021
Exhibition Hours: 13:30 – 22:00
Exhibition Venue: Paradise, No. 75, Lane 161, Dunhua South Road Section 1, Taipei
Since Paradise relocated to its current address in September 2014, and following Mr. Lung's inaugural Taiwanese solo exhibition, "My Little Planet," held there that November, Kasing Lung has almost annually returned to Taipei's Paradise to connect with collectors through a series of captivating exhibitions. This latest collaboration holds significant commemorative value for both the artist and the store! The "Step" solo exhibition offers new collectors a rare glimpse into Kasing Lung's early works, while long-time fans can deeply appreciate the evolution of his distinctive artistic style.
The exhibition floor is brimming with a rich collection of artworks, showcasing both Lung's iconic original characters and his unique stylistic homages to classic works – a truly captivating experience! Due to ongoing pandemic precautions, all exhibited artworks and limited-edition merchandise will be sold exclusively via online lottery, eliminating the need for in-person purchases. For comprehensive sales information on these exclusive pieces, be sure to follow Paradise's official Facebook page.
