Japanese game creator Hideo Kojima recently posted on Twitter, showcasing a "Cutie1 Hideo Kojima" plush-style figure custom-made for him by Prime 1 Studio's chibi series, "Cutie1 (キューティ１)." He asked fans if they would be interested in purchasing it if it were released. While not currently available for sale, the fan response has been overwhelmingly positive, suggesting a strong possibility of commercialization in the future!
The "Cutie1" series, known for its adorable and collectible plush-doll aesthetic, reinterprets various IP characters. The lineup already includes popular items from Berserk, DC characters, Evangelion, and Dorohedoro. Now, it's Hideo Kojima's turn to be transformed into a chibi-style figure!
True to the series' distinctive style, the Hideo Kojima figure features signature button eyes and a zipper mouth, mimicking a classic plush doll. Even the stitched seams and fabric-like texture details are playfully realistic, making it both adorable and meticulously detailed. His iconic glasses and thick eyebrows are present, and he's even sporting a KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS outfit, complete with a dedicated display base! So, fellow collectors, would you add this Hideo Kojima to your collection?
This is an original figure of "me" specially created in the style of "Cutie 1" from @Prime1Studio. It's not on sale yet.
