Bandai's Gashapon division is expanding its popular Hugcot series of cable protectors, which previously featured the hit mobile game "The Battle Cats." Following the release of the first "Hugcot The Battle Cats" series, the second wave, "Hugcot The Battle Cats 02" cable protector capsule toys, is now set to launch. This collection features six different designs, each priced at 200 JPY, and is scheduled for release in the second week of August 2021.
The "Hugcot The Battle Cats 02" capsule toy series transforms popular characters from the game into cable protectors that attach to your phone's charging cable. When in use, it looks as if the characters are hugging your cable. They're adorable whether you use just one or have a whole army of them clinging to your wires! The six characters featured in this wave include basic cats: Whale Cat, Macho Cat, Ninja Cat, and Dark Cat, along with EX characters: Box Cat and Unicycle Cat. With their hilariously quirky designs (and questionable practicality!), fans of The Battle Cats can now let their feline army safeguard their charging cables!
