Sideshow Collectibles has announced its latest "Premium Format Figure" statue from MARVEL, featuring Captain America! This impressive piece is slated for release between May and July 2022.
Standing approximately 53.3 cm (21 inches) tall, this statue captures Captain America, Steve Rogers, charging fearlessly into battle. It faithfully recreates his iconic red, white, and blue uniform, winged cowl, chest star, and classic circular shield. The sculpting emphasizes exaggerated musculature across his chest, abdomen, and arms, with his "America's ass" and thighs looking incredibly powerful, giving him an overall formidable appearance. Intricate details like the scale-like texture on his upper body, the dynamic wrinkles of his form-fitting suit, and the battle-damaged marks on his shield are all meticulously rendered. The effect of bullets ricocheting off his shield further underscores Captain America's unwavering resolve to confront evil head-on.
▼ The base features rocky terrain and yellow-green themed Hydra weaponry, with the Hydra logo clearly visible.
