Collectible figure manufacturer Asmus Toys recently announced their latest "Vergil" 1/6 scale collectible action figure from CAPCOM's action-adventure game "Devil May Cry 5." Both Standard and Deluxe Editions are available for pre-order on their official website, with an estimated release in Q4 2021.
Vergil is a prominent character in CAPCOM's "Devil May Cry" series, the elder twin brother of the demon hunter Dante, and the firstborn son of the legendary Dark Knight Sparda and the human woman Eva. Possessing both demonic heritage and immense magical power, Vergil's personality stands in stark contrast to Dante's. Cold and taciturn, his childhood experiences fueled an extreme obsession with power. He views himself as a demon rather than a human, believing his human side makes him vulnerable, and is consumed by the pursuit of ever-greater strength.
Asmus Toys' "Vergil" 1/6 scale collectible action figure stands approximately 31 cm tall and features 32 points of articulation, faithfully recreating his appearance from "Devil May Cry 5." His signature slicked-back silver hair and stoic expression are expertly captured. The tailored fabric black trench coat, blue-outlined patterns, and metallic accessories are meticulously detailed, perfectly conveying Vergil's cold, aristocratic demeanor. Accessories include the Yamato (with its sheath), six interchangeable hands, and a display stand.
The Deluxe Edition adds sharp leg claws, the demonic gauntlets and greaves of Beowulf with their glowing veins, and the magic-infused Summoned Swords. It also comes with eight Summoned Sword effects, a weapon stand, and a circular sword array effect piece, powerfully recreating his spectacular in-game combat scenes!
