The highly praised SHODO-X Kamen Rider action figure candy toy series is getting a brand new release! The 14th installment is slated for a December 2021 launch. For those interested in previous entries, you can check out Toy People's earlier coverage!
This 14th wave of the SHODO-X series dives into the "Kamen Rider Fourze" universe, which first aired in 2011. The lineup includes Fourze himself, his beloved motorcycle the "Machine Massigler," and the secondary Rider from the series, "Kamen Rider Meteor." Also joining this wave is "Kamen Rider Wizard" from the 2012 series.
The story of "Kamen Rider Fourze" follows Gentaro Kisaragi, a hot-blooded youth with exceptional fighting skills. After an accidental encounter with Kengo Utahoshi, Gentaro obtains the Fourze Driver and transforms into Kamen Rider Fourze, beginning his battle against the Zodiarts. His famous catchphrases include "Space, here we come!" (宇宙キター！) and "Let's settle this one-on-one!" (タイマンはらせてもらうぜ！).
Continuing the world and timeline established by "Kamen Rider Fourze," "Kamen Rider Wizard" centers on Haruto Souma, who survives the "Sabbath" ritual on the eve of a solar eclipse. This ritual also unleashes monstrous "Phantoms" upon humanity. Haruto, who unexpectedly receives the Wizard Driver from the mysterious White Wizard, transforms into Kamen Rider Wizard and embarks on a journey to protect humans from the Phantoms. His iconic line is "Now, it's showtime!" (さあ、ショータイムだ).
This 14th release features seven distinct items, including an expansion parts set that comes with Kamen Rider Fourze's exclusive armaments and Kamen Rider Wizard's signature weapon, the "Wizarswordgun." The full lineup is as follows:
