Entertainment collectibles publisher Hero Collector has teamed up with US toy giant Hasbro to launch an exciting "Transformers" themed project on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter: the "Transformers Chess Set", bringing the never-ending conflict between the Autobots and Decepticons to your tabletop!
Hero Collector is an international collectibles brand with extensive experience in statue and chess set manufacturing. This "Transformers Chess Set," launched in collaboration with Hasbro, is designed with the beloved G1 animation as its theme, a favorite among many Transformers fans. Just like a standard chess game, the Autobots and Decepticons each have 16 hand-painted Transformers-themed chess pieces, standing approximately 4.5 to 6 inches tall. Familiar characters like Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, Soundwave, Ironhide, Starscream, and more are all part of the action!
The approximately 25-inch (63.5 cm) chessboard itself is also packed with impressive details. Not only are both sides painted in colors representing the Autobots and Decepticons respectively, but the board also features each faction's iconic emblems. Plus, with a frame designed in the style of the "Transformers" G1 animation, it offers an incredibly immersive play experience! Additionally, this chess set includes a 272-page book featuring character profiles and G1 animation lore. Reaching different funding tiers will unlock even more content.
