Bandai's annual TAMASHII NATIONS figure exhibition, "TAMASHII NATION 2021," recently announced it will be held from November 19-21 this year. Alongside this announcement, the latest details for the event's commemorative limited-edition item, the "ROBOT魂 Full Armor Gundam ver. A.N.I.M.E. ～REAL MARKING～," were also revealed. This year's Tamashii Nation commemorative item features the heavily armed mobile suit FA-78-1 Full Armor Gundam, which originally appeared in the "Mobile Suit Gundam MSV" model kit project. Based on the iconic RX-78 series, this variant is equipped with additional heavy armor and boasts a formidable arsenal including a twin beam gun, numerous missiles, and cannons across its frame. To counteract the reduced mobility from the added weight, thruster assist devices are also integrated into its legs.
The "ROBOT魂 Full Armor Gundam ver. A.N.I.M.E. ～REAL MARKING～" is crafted from PVC and ABS materials, standing approximately 12.5 cm tall. Building upon the previously released regular version, this special edition features a brand-new paint scheme and newly designed REAL MARKING decals. These intricate markings give the mobile suit an even cooler, more realistic military hardware aesthetic.
All of the additional armor pieces are designed to be detachable, offering collectors the flexibility to display the figure in either its light armor or full armor configuration. The set comes packed with a rich array of armaments, including two shoulder missiles, two knee missiles, a twin beam gun, a 360mm cannon, a beam rifle, a shield, and beam sabers. Various effect parts for its weapons are also included, allowing fans to recreate dynamic, immersive battle scenes with impressive firing and impact effects!
