Chinese model studio Animal Planet, known for its original "Chubby & Content Series" (心寬體胖系列) featuring popular pet reptiles, is back with its third installment, "Chubby & Content 03 Turtles," following the release of its geckos. The complete set includes seven regular designs plus a secret chase figure, with each figure priced at 138 RMB. The series was originally scheduled for release in December 2021.
The third wave of the "Chubby & Content Series 03" maintains the line's signature style, with sculptor Luobo (梦卜) serving as the lead sculptor. This collection adorably interprets popular turtles with plump, round designs! In addition to the turtles featured in the first wave, this release adds seven new varieties: Male Sulcata Tortoise, Female Sulcata Tortoise, Pig-Nosed Turtle, Red Big-headed Turtle, Green Big-headed Turtle, Radiated Tortoise, and Yellow Big-headed Turtle. Each figure is sculpted with realistic appearances in a palm-sized approximately 80mm scale. The scales on their bodies, as well as the shape, texture, and color of their carapaces, are all exquisitely detailed. Their super adorable poses, half-retracted into their shells, make them cute and therapeutic wherever they're displayed!
