During a recent online livestream, the highly anticipated "figma Pecorine" from the popular Japanese mobile game "Princess Connect! Re:Dive" was announced for release in June 2022.
The figma series, produced by Japanese figure maker Max Factory, is renowned for its exceptional articulation. Utilizing joint parts co-developed with sculptor Masaki Apsy, figma figures boast sophisticated articulation cuts that faithfully reproduce character designs. Since its first product launch in 2008, the series has released over 500 items, establishing itself as one of Japan's most recognized action figure lines. With the announcement of a second season for the "Princess Connect! Re:Dive" anime, it was also revealed that the series' protagonist, Pecorine, would receive her very first figma action figure.
The "figma Pecorine" meticulously recreates her in-game costume through exquisite sculpting and paintwork. Her crown is crafted from clear material, and intricate accessories are adorned with vibrant colors. Thanks to figma's original articulated joints, collectors can pose Pecorine dynamically, including her iconic stance wielding the "Princess Sword" with both hands.
