Bandai's GASHAPON division is set to release the latest addition to its "HG (HIGH GRADE REAL FIGURE)" series, known for its exquisite sculpting and compact size. The new "HG Kamen Rider Classic 1" capsule toy collection, featuring characters from Japan's tokusatsu "Kamen Rider" series, will include five different figures and is scheduled for release in late August 2021.
The classic tokusatsu TV series "Kamen Rider Series" (仮面ライダーシリーズ), created by manga artist Shotaro Ishinomori, first premiered on Japan's TV Asahi in 1971. For five decades, the franchise has introduced over a hundred Kamen Riders, each with unique transformation methods and diverse powers, as they continuously battle evil organizations and their monstrous Kaijin. Alongside the "Ultraman Series" and "Super Sentai Series," "Kamen Rider" is celebrated as one of Japan's three most beloved tokusatsu franchises.
This "HG Kamen Rider Classic 1" capsule toy collection features five distinct figures, each standing approximately 8.5 cm tall and faithfully recreating iconic characters from the series. The lineup includes Kamen Rider Old Ichigo, Spider Man Kaijin, Spider Man Kaijin (Reborn), Unidogma, and KabuTRONg. With intricate sculpting and paintwork, each figure captures their distinctive costumes, belts, dynamic poses, and signature stances, making this a must-have collection for any Kamen Rider fan!
