Following the viral success of their re-released Khezu Stretchable Plush Toy, Capcom's official online store, e-CAPCOM, is back with another wild item from the world of Monster Hunter. Just in time for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2021 Online, the company has unveiled the incredible "Monster Hunter Rise Khezu Swallow-You-Whole Sleeping Bag"! Pre-orders are now live for ¥29,700, with an expected shipping date in November 2021.
One of the most bizarre creatures in the "Monster Hunter" franchise, the Khezu (フルフル) is a medium-sized, carnivorous Flying Wyvern that lurks in damp environments like swamps and ice caves. With its pale, clammy skin, large feet, and massive wings, its most defining feature is a face that consists of nothing but a gaping, blood-red maw, earning it a reputation among hunters as one of the series' most grotesque monsters. Its neck is incredibly flexible, able to stretch and retract at will. The Khezu paralyzes smaller monsters with electric projectiles before swallowing them whole and can also unleash a powerful electric discharge. Despite its horrifying appearance, the creature is highly valued for the Pale Extract that can be harvested from its body.

This new item transforms the grotesque monster into a massive "Khezu-themed sleeping bag," measuring an impressive 180 cm in length with a diameter of 80 cm. The design reimagines the Khezu in a super-deformed style, cutely recreating its tiny wing-claws and a mouth full of sharp teeth. The monster's horrifying maw serves as the sleeping bag's entrance, allowing you to experience what it's like to be swallowed whole by a Khezu! Hunters, just grab a small blanket and you're ready to crawl inside for a rest.
