No army is complete without its grunts! Following their successful releases of protagonists and various enemy characters from SEGA's classic action game series, "Golden Axe," Hong Kong-based toy brand STORM COLLECTIBLES is set to launch a new product in Q4 2021: the enemy character "DEAD FRAME" from "GOLDEN AXE 3"!
Fans of the classic 2D action game "Golden Axe" will undoubtedly be familiar with its iconic enemy roster. Replacing the Skeleton Soldiers frequently seen in the first two installments, the Dead Frame makes its debut as an undead enemy in "Golden Axe 3." These creatures are essentially beast bones, reanimated and assembled into humanoid warriors by dark magic. In the game, they pose a threat with both their charging attacks and their ability to leap at players.
Much like their previous Skeleton Soldier release, STORM COLLECTIBLES' Dead Frame figures are sold as a two-pack. Each figure comes with four sets of interchangeable hand parts, a double-bladed sword, and a spiked shield. The articulation remains excellent, allowing for a wide range of dynamic poses. Furthermore, the jaw on each head is articulated, adding to their expressiveness. For collectors who enjoy building out their displays with grunt figures to complement their main heroes, this set offers an economical and appealing option.
