Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY has announced that Ban, the Fox Sin of Greed from the hit anime "The Seven Deadly Sins," will be the next character to join its affordable PVC figure series, "POP UP PARADE"! He is scheduled for release in December 2021.
"The Seven Deadly Sins" is a blockbuster fantasy manga created by Nakaba Suzuki, which ran in Kodansha's "Weekly Shonen Magazine" from 2012 to 2020. The franchise has spawned multiple anime seasons, with the final installment, "Dragon's Judgement," concluding in June 2021, followed by the feature film "Cursed by Light."
Ban, the Fox Sin of Greed, is easily recognized by his towering, lean build and the fox tattoo on his left abdomen. He serves as the surprisingly skilled chef of the Boar Hat tavern—a stark contrast to Meliodas's own culinary disasters. A former Diamond-ranked Holy Knight, Ban possesses the power of immortality and wields the Sacred Treasure, the Holy Staff Courechouse. While he often puts on a cynical and carefree front, he is deeply emotional and driven by the singular goal of resurrecting his lost love, Elaine.
