Bandai Spirits today (23rd) announced the latest product from Toei's tokusatsu series "Kamen Rider Saber," the "Ultimate Seiken Kaenken Rekka & Suiseiken Nagare / Raimeiken Ikazuchi Emblem Set," slated for release in February 2022.
In "Kamen Rider Saber," beyond the familiar transformation belt, the elemental swords wielded by each Rider are integral to the series. The titular Kamen Rider Saber transforms using three key items: the Holy Sword Kaenken Rekka, the Seiken Swordriver belt, and a Wonder Ride Book. However, previous DX versions were limited to a mere 35cm due to toy regulations, a significant departure from the show's on-screen props.
This new "Ultimate Seiken Kaenken Rekka & Suiseiken Nagare / Raimeiken Ikazuchi Emblem Set" was developed by the Complete Selection Modification (CSM) transformation belt design team. Boasting an impressive 81cm length, the sword's proportions are far more accurate to its on-screen appearance, with a luxurious painted finish for enhanced color and texture.
Beyond the Kaenken Rekka sword itself, the set also includes the Suiseiken Nagare Emblem and Raimeiken Ikazuchi Emblem. These allow for switching between three forms, each activating corresponding character dialogue, transformation sounds, and background music. Six sets of LED lights hidden within the blade illuminate in sync with the sound effects. Pressing the "Shingan Reader" button at the sword's tip further reproduces the sounds of learning new special moves!
