T-ARTS, the popular capsule toy brand under renowned Japanese toy company Takara Tomy, is set to release a new "Gremlins 2 Character Collection" capsule toy series. Following their successful "Gremlins Collection" and other products, this latest line is inspired by the classic sci-fi film "Gremlins 2: The New Batch" (グレムリン２ 新・種・誕・生) and is scheduled to launch in late August 2021.
Released in 1990, the sequel film "Gremlins 2: The New Batch" sees the mischievous creatures multiply after being accidentally splashed with water in Billy's office building. These new, evil Gremlins not only cause rampant chaos but also infiltrate the building's genetic research lab, coming into contact with chemicals that transform them into even more destructive and ferocious mutant monsters!
The "T-ARTS Gremlins 2 Character Collection" capsule toy line features Gizmo, armed with his paperclip bow and arrow, alongside five of the film's iconic mutant Gremlins: the punk-rock Mohawk, the goofy Daffy, Lenny, and George. Each figure stands approximately 4.5 to 8 cm tall, boasting exquisite paint applications and intricate sculpting. For added playability, they also include simple articulation at the arms and waist. What's more, each capsule toy comes with a bonus part, allowing collectors to assemble the terrifying "Spider Mohawk" from the movie!
