US toy manufacturer NECA recently announced the "Ultimate Brain Gremlin" action figure, directly inspired by the horror-comedy film "Gremlins 2: The New Batch"! The figure was scheduled to ship in March 2022.
Among the rapidly multiplying mischievous Gremlins in "Gremlins 2," the "Brain Gremlin" is undoubtedly one of the most distinctive, known for his seemingly elegant and refined demeanor. He not only sports glasses and enjoys a smoke like a human, but his articulate appearance on "Fred's Talk Show" remains a truly iconic moment. This figure, standing approximately 15 cm (about 6 inches) tall, meticulously captures the Brain Gremlin's highly organic body details. Beyond the realistic gradient skin tone, collectors will appreciate the slightly slimy, sticky texture replicated on its surface.
The figure's blue-gray suit is custom-tailored from real fabric material. Accessories include a pipe, a syringe, Brain Serum, and interchangeable hands. Combined with the Brain Gremlin's subtly evil smile, these elements allow fans to recreate dynamic scenes from the film.
