After releasing UPM Dante and UPM Nero based on "Devil May Cry 5," premier Japanese statue maker Prime 1 Studio is now bringing the powerful "Dante" to its high-quality "HD Museum Masterline" series. This impressive 1/2 scale statue will be available in both a Standard Edition and a Black Label Edition, with a limited release scheduled from November 2022 to February 2023!
Dante (ダンテ), the protagonist of CAPCOM's action game series "Devil May Cry," is a half-demon, half-human born to the legendary demon swordsman Sparda and the human woman Eva. Due to childhood events, he shares a complex, love-hate relationship with his twin brother Vergil, often acting as both rival and ally. Harboring a strong hatred for demons, Dante is a "Devil Hunter" who specializes in using his twin pistols and greatsword as primary weapons to quell unruly devils. In "Devil May Cry 5," amidst an invasion by demonic forces, he personally reveals to Nero the truth that Vergil is Nero's father. The two brothers eventually put aside their conflict under Nero's mediation, flying together to the base of the Qliphoth to resolve the entire crisis.
The "HD Museum Masterline Dante" 1/2 scale statue brings Dante to life with overwhelming high specifications, creating the ultimate rendition of the character! Standing an imposing 109 cm tall, 63 cm wide, and 64 cm deep, this piece elevates the realistic in-game visuals, meticulously capturing details such as realistic stubble, skin texture with visible pores, and wrinkles on his brow and neck. His slightly aged yet still arrogant and provocative gaze is perfectly recreated. Dante's signature red coat and black leather pants are crafted from real fabric, with stunning attention to zippers, metallic ornaments, and the skull on his back. The intricate skull patterns on his demon sword "Rebellion" and his twin pistols "Ivory & Ebony" also showcase breathtaking detail, making this an absolute must-have for collectors seeking the pinnacle of craftsmanship!
