Japanese toy company Kotobukiya today announced two Kotobukiya Shop exclusive figures from its popular ARTFX J series, which features characters from Japanese anime and games. These new releases are from "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters," featuring Yami Yugi and Seto Kaiba. This article will focus on the product details for the "Seto Kaiba -Duel of Destiny!!-" 1/7 scale PVC pre-painted figure.
Standing approximately 27.5 cm tall, this figure perfectly captures the President's arrogant and supremely confident demeanor! His signature hairstyle, the Duel Disk on his left arm, five cards in hand, and the Battle Monster Card-themed necklace are all meticulously recreated. Unlike Yugi, who is depicted in the moment of drawing a card, Kaiba strikes a pose with his right hand clenched, a smirk on his face, and his Life Points untouched at 4000, as if declaring his absolute victory. And of course, one cannot overlook Kaiba's iconic silver coat, which appears to be reinforced with steel, giving the entire figure an incredibly imposing presence!
While Yami Yugi and Kaiba are slated for a January 2022 release, their original ARTFX J figures debuted back in 2012 and 2013, respectively. This re-release offers collectors who missed out previously another chance to acquire them. Pair him with the Yami Yugi -Duel of Destiny!!- figure to recreate their classic rival battle!
