BANDAI SPIRITS, a division of Japan's Bandai, is set to release the highly anticipated "Saint Cloth Myth EX" series figure of "Wyvern Griffon Minos" from the "Hades Chapter" in an "Original Color Edition," scheduled for January 2022. This line is a favorite among toy collectors.
Wyvern Griffon Minos is one of the "Three Judges of Hell," alongside Wyvern Rhadamanthys and Garuda Aiacos. In the original story, he often stayed with the other two, rarely engaging in direct combat. His signature technique, "Cosmic Marionettion," allows him to control opponents like puppets, twisting their bodies and breaking their bones.
After the Wailing Wall was shattered by the combined might of the Gold Saints, Minos frantically returned to the Fourth Circle, where he encountered Hyoga. Despite his Surplice being half-destroyed from the previous battle, he displayed astonishing power, obliterating Hyoga's Freezing Coffin. Hyoga ultimately defeated Minos with his ultimate attack, "Aurora Execution." However, as Hyoga used Athena's blood to grant wings to his Cloth and attempted to cross the Dimensional Gap to Elysium, an unyielding Minos pursued him. Lacking the protection of divine blood, Minos was ultimately consumed and perished within the Dimensional Gap.
This Saint Cloth Myth EX Wyvern Griffon Minos significantly upgrades the version originally released in 2006. Like previous figures in the line, it incorporates the new "EX METAL" action figure body, which boasts substantial improvements in both aesthetic appearance and articulation. The figure comes with four interchangeable face plates, along with hair parts to display him without his mask.
