The BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division in Japan announced today (August 26) a new product project for its original assembly model kit series, "30 MINUTES MISSIONS," with the latest details set to be unveiled on August 30, 2021.
"30 MINUTES MISSIONS" is an original assembly model kit series designed around the concept of "mass-produced machines." Featuring designs by renowned mechanical designers such as Kanetake Ebikawa and Takayuki Yanase, these units intentionally lack the overly distinctive features often seen in anime protagonist mechs. Instead, their appeal lies in their extensive customization options, allowing for significant changes to their appearance, armaments, and color schemes to suit various needs, truly embodying the versatility of mass-produced units. The kits are celebrated for their easy assembly, high expandability, and interchangeability. The popular "30 MINUTES SISTERS" series, which focuses on cute girl-type mecha, was also launched later.
This new initiative is temporarily dubbed the "ANOTHER EXAMACS PLAN." ExAMACS is the general term for the humanoid weapon systems within the series, indicating that new ExAMACS models, differing from current designs, are on the way.
