Japanese figure manufacturer Good Smile Company recently announced the upcoming release of their latest scale figure, the "Hatsune Miku Land of the Eternal 1/7 Scale Figure," based on the virtual diva from the Character Vocal Series. The stunning collectible is slated for a July 2023 release.
This exquisite piece is inspired by the main visual from the "KYOTO NIPPON FESTIVAL 2019," an art exhibition that masterfully blended traditional Japanese culture with modern innovation. Hosted by SONY in 2019, the event boldly fused Japanese national treasures with contemporary anime art. It invited numerous renowned illustrators to reinterpret ancient masterpieces, launched a collaborative project featuring the mythology of Kitano Tenmangu Shrine and "Sword Art Online," and even held a "Thirty-Six Immortals of Poetry" art contest centered around Kyoto and Hatsune Miku, creating a unique opportunity for younger generations to connect with classical Japanese culture.
The "Hatsune Miku Land of the Eternal 1/7 Scale Figure" meticulously recreates the intricate accessories and layered kimono design envisioned by illustrator Rella. Her hair features translucent parts, giving it a beautiful light-transmitting effect and a dynamic, wind-swept appearance. Like her pristine white kimono, the hair is finished with a pearlescent coating, creating a captivating luster. The rich array of accessories incorporates vibrant red maple leaves and traditional Japanese ornaments, all rendered with metallic textures for a premium feel. The base is composed of two layers, with clear water revealing crimson maple leaves beneath, perfectly complementing the breathtaking Hatsune Miku figure.
