Japanese creative brand COSPA (コスパ), renowned for its anime merchandise and apparel, is set to release its latest hilarious product: the Money-Eating Monster Kanegon Hoodie, inspired by Tsuburaya Productions' classic tokusatsu series "Ultra Q" (ウルトラQ). The charming and adorable monster Kanegon (カネゴン), with a mouth like a coin purse overflowing with coins, first appeared in Episode 15 of Tsuburaya Productions' 1966 tokusatsu series "Ultra Q." Kanegon was originally a human boy named Kaneda Kaneo. His insatiable greed drew him to a mysterious cocoon, and he was subsequently absorbed by a small monster that hatched from it. This transformation turned him into a creature that feeds primarily on coins and banknotes, requiring at least 3,150 JPY daily to survive. Should the amount displayed on his chest counter reach zero, he will perish.
