Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya has announced the latest addition to their "Brave Series" model kit lineup: the "Dran & Great Parts" from "The Brave of Gold Goldran," slated for release in March 2022.
The protagonist robot, Dran, is a dignified Brave Robot capable of transforming into a car mode. He can summon the Goldran mecha for a "Golden Combination" to form the larger robot, Goldran, wielding the Japanese-style "Super Dragon Fang Sword" to unleash his signature "One-Hit Severing Slash" attack. After Gold Ninja Kage and Gold General Leon awaken, Dran can further combine with them to achieve his strongest form, Great Goldran.
The "Dran & Great Parts" kit includes the Dran main body along with enhancement parts necessary to recreate Great Goldran. Once assembled, Dran stands approximately 12 cm tall, faithfully reproducing his cool design from the series. The kit features an internal movable frame with excellent joint articulation, allowing for a wide range of dynamic poses with his Super Dragon Fang Sword and three pre-painted expression parts. However, the kit does not allow for transformation into car mode.
The Great Parts are designed to be combined with the separately sold "Super Goldran" kit to form the imposing Great Goldran. The kit also includes a new face part that more closely matches the anime's depiction, along with the Ultimate Bow and dedicated hands, enabling collectors to recreate the iconic "Golden Arrow: Ultimate Divine Shot" attack pose!
