Luxembourg-based high-end statue maker Tsume-Art, renowned for their masterful craftsmanship and dynamic scenes from Japanese anime, is expanding its new "IKIGAI" line with 1/6 scale statues from "My Hero Academia", including the Shoto Todoroki IKIGAI and now, the fiery Endeavor IKIGAI! Shipping is slated for Q3 2022 to Q1 2023.
The Flame Hero Endeavor, real name Enji Todoroki, is known for his arrogant personality and an overwhelming desire to win. As the long-reigning No. 2 Pro Hero, second only to All Might, he entered into a morally questionable "Quirk Marriage" with the sole purpose of producing an heir capable of surpassing his rival. This resulted in the birth of his son, Shoto Todoroki, who possesses the Half-Cold Half-Hot Quirk, and cemented Endeavor's reputation as a terrible father. Following All Might's retirement, Endeavor finally achieved his long-coveted No. 1 spot, which sparked a gradual change in his mentality and his attitude towards his family and fans.
The "IKIGAI" statue line focuses on capturing characters in dynamic, pre-attack poses at a 1/6 scale. The second "My Hero Academia" release is the Endeavor IKIGAI statue, measuring 36cm tall, 34cm deep, and 18cm wide. It features stunning translucent effect parts to recreate the roaring flames engulfing Endeavor's upper body, arms, and legs! The hero costume is sculpted with incredible realism, showcasing battle damage, fabric textures, and the powerful musculature underneath. The intense flames surrounding his face and his signature fire beard are meticulously detailed. Combined with his towering, muscular physique and a stern expression, the statue's realism and power are amplified by the vivid detail of his bloodshot, blazing eyes. The piece perfectly captures the epic scene from his battle against the Nomu, where he burns beyond his limits!
