Luxembourg-based premium statue team Tsume-Art, renowned for their exquisite craftsmanship and dynamic scene recreations of Japanese anime characters, is launching new "My Hero Academia"-themed entries in their "IKIGAI" series: the "Endeavor IKIGAI" and "Shoto Todoroki IKIGAI" 1/6 scale full-body statues! These are scheduled to ship between Q3 2022 and Q1 2023.
In "My Hero Academia," Shoto Todoroki, the resident heartthrob of Class 1-A at U.A. High School's Hero Course, is the son of the No. 2 Hero (who later became No. 1 after All Might's retirement), Endeavor. Shoto inherited the incredibly powerful "Half-Cold Half-Hot" Quirk from both his parents: his mother's side allows him to create ice from his right side, while his father's side grants him the ability to generate flames from his left. From a young age, his father trained him as a tool to surpass All Might, making Shoto fiercely competitive and aloof, initially refusing to use the "Hot" power of his left side. However, as the story progresses, Shoto's heart gradually changes.
The "IKIGAI" statue series, designed to capture characters in dynamic, action-ready poses at a 1/6 scale, launches its first "My Hero Academia" entry with the "Shoto Todoroki IKIGAI" full-body statue. Measuring 36 cm tall, 34 cm deep, and 18 cm wide, it meticulously recreates Shoto's sleek hero costume, including details like his wrist guards, the small vials on his belt, and the fabric textures. His distinctive white and red dual-colored hair and the burn scar on his left eye are also faithfully reproduced. The flames engulfing his left forearm and the magnificent ice effects around his right foot perfectly embody his Half-Cold Half-Hot Quirk, conveying Shoto's overwhelming power!

About the Statue Series:
The "IKIGAI" series combines the advantages of slightly reduced pricing and shorter production times. What makes this series particularly unique is the release method for its "Ultimate Edition." The official website doesn't sell the Regular and Ultimate Editions separately, and their packaging is identical. Collectors won't know if they've received the lucky Ultimate Edition until they unbox the statue themselves! Compared to the Regular Edition, the Ultimate Edition includes additional battle-damaged sculpt details, more elaborate effect parts, and extra weapons, among other enhancements.
