figma Shaman King Yoh Asakura Action Figure Revealed, Includes Amidamaru and Both Drawn/Sheathed Harusame!

MAX FACTORY, the Japanese toy company behind the popular "figma" action figure series, is set to release a new figure based on the 2021 anime adaptation of "Shaman King": the figma Yoh Asakura! Priced at 8,800 JPY, the figure is scheduled for release in July 2022.

"Shaman King" protagonist Yoh Asakura hails from the prestigious Asakura shaman family. Trained by his grandfather since childhood, he was ostracized by other children in his town, who called him "Oni Kid." To create a "world where everyone can live happily," Yoh aims to become the Shaman King. He possesses an optimistic and laid-back personality, often believing "things will work out somehow," and has a gentle, unwavering heart. He is both the opposite and the destined rival of his twin brother, Hao Asakura.

The figma Yoh Asakura action figure stands approximately 14 cm tall, faithfully recreating his uniform from his initial appearance. Intricate details like his orange headphones, bear claw necklace, and geta sandals are meticulously sculpted. In addition to his relaxed, "everything will be fine" "Normal Face," the figure also includes a "Shouting Face" for combat scenes and a "Smiling Face" with narrowed eyes. Accessories are plentiful, featuring "Harusame" in both drawn and sheathed states, as well as a "forearm part for wearing the Oracle Bell." The metallic paint on the Oracle Bell adds a touch of premium texture. Furthermore, a translucent "Amidamaru" in his spirit form comes with a dedicated stand, along with a "grave marker" and other rich props. Amidamaru's miniature sword and armor are adorably detailed!
