Blitzway has produced numerous high-quality statues over the years, including a previous gown version of Marilyn Monroe. While I missed out on that earlier release, this new statue, featuring her classic pose, marks their second iteration. I've heard from fellow collectors that the paint application on the gown version was particularly excellent. While I can't directly compare, I can confirm that the overall quality of this new piece is truly impressive. The seamlessly hidden body joints, the pearlescent finish on the face, the meticulously rooted eyelashes, and the detailed layering of her hair are all standout features. Although the mass-produced item may not achieve 100% of the official prototype's perfection, any minor discrepancies are easily overshadowed by its overall beauty. For a classic pose, this piece is definitely a personal favorite.
