Ignite your baseball spirit! Japanese model developer PM office A's brand PLUM is set to release a new series of mini figures from the popular baseball anime "Major 2nd"! The first wave will feature protagonist Daigo Shigeno and heroine Mutsuko Sakura, with an expected release in November 2021.
The original "Major" anime and manga series is a cherished childhood memory for many, chronicling protagonist Goro Shigeno's journey from a young player to a top-tier professional, inspiring countless real-life athletes. In 2015, "Major 2nd" began serialization, focusing on Goro's son, Daigo Shigeno. The story follows Daigo as he navigates challenges from little league, eventually joining the Fūrin Middle School baseball club and meeting new teammates.
This first wave of PLUM's "Major 2nd" mini figure series introduces two key characters: protagonist Daigo Shigeno and heroine Mutsuko Sakura. Each figure stands approximately 7 cm tall and is sculpted in a dynamic pose representing their respective defensive positions – Daigo as a catcher and Mutsuko as a pitcher. Future releases are planned to include characters like Tao Sagaraku and Chizuru Fujii, so fans should stay tuned for more!
