Following the successful releases of protagonists Yuji Itadori and Satoru Gojo, TAMASHII NATIONS, BANDAI SPIRITS' collector's toy division, is set to launch "S.H.Figuarts Megumi Fushiguro" from the popular anime series "Jujutsu Kaisen"! This highly anticipated action figure will retail for 5,500 JPY and is slated for release in January 2022.
Megumi Fushiguro (ふしぐろ めぐみ), a fan-favorite character from Gege Akutami's hit manga "Jujutsu Kaisen," is known for his calm and cautious demeanor. He is a classmate of the hot-blooded protagonist Yuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki at Tokyo Jujutsu High, all under the guidance of the strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer, Satoru Gojo. Possessing the Zenin family bloodline and immense talent, Megumi achieved the rank of Grade 2 Sorcerer in his very first year. As a Shadow user, he employs the "Ten Shadows Technique," a cursed technique that allows him to summon various Shikigami from his own shadow by mimicking animal poses with his hands.
The "S.H.Figuarts Megumi Fushiguro" action figure stands approximately 150mm tall, faithfully recreating Megumi's appearance from the anime. This includes his distinctive black spiky hair and the all-black, high-collared uniform of Tokyo Jujutsu High. The figure comes packed with a wide array of interchangeable hand parts, featuring not only standard left and right hands but also specific gestures for summoning his Shikigami, "Divine Dogs" and "Nue," as well as the iconic pose for his Domain Expansion, "Chimera Shadow Garden" (かんごうあんえいてい)! Two interchangeable face plates are included: a calm, "normal face" and an intense "shouting face" for battle. With S.H.Figuarts' renowned articulation, collectors can easily recreate various dynamic actions and memorable scenes from the series.
