Max Factory, a leading Japanese figure manufacturer, today announced the latest addition to its popular "figma" articulated figure series: "Chika Fujiwara" and "Kaguya Shinomiya" from the hit manga series "Kaguya-sama: Love Is War - The Geniuses' Battle of Love and Brains." Both figures are slated for an August 2022 release.
This new figma brings to life Shuchiin Academy High School Student Council Secretary "Chika Fujiwara," famously known as the gossip-loving "Love Detective." With her innocent, cheerful, and highly expressive personality, Chika often serves as both an unwitting helper and disruptor in Kaguya and Shirogane's intense "love battle of wits." Her exaggerated and adorable antics are now fully captured in this highly articulated figma!
A standout feature of this release is the figure's material. Unlike the PVC used for most figma products, Chika's Shuchiin Academy uniform is specially crafted from real fabric. This not only faithfully reproduces the intricate details and texture of the uniform but also allows for significantly greater freedom in posing the figure, enhancing its overall range of motion!
Accessories include interchangeable indoor shoes and loafers, various hand parts, a detective hat, a magnifying glass, a pipe, and the iconic "CHECK IT OUT" sign used during the forbidden word game. She also comes with four interchangeable face plates: a "calm face," a "smiling face," a "closed-eye smiling face," and a "flustered face," allowing collectors to recreate numerous memorable scenes from the series!
By equipping her with the detective hat, magnifying glass, and pipe, Secretary Fujiwara transforms into the adorable Love Detective Chika! Pair these with her two smiling faces to capture her lively and triumphant expressions!
The "flustered face," complete with beads of sweat, adds even more depth to Chika's emotional range!
Who could forget the iconic "Don Da Yo!" scene when Chika plays the forbidden word game with Kaguya and Shirogane? Now, with the "CHECK IT OUT" sign and matching hand gesture, you can perfectly recreate her victorious "Don Da Yo!" moment!
Furthermore, orders placed through the official GOODSMILE Online Shop will receive an exclusive bonus: a "subtitle plate + stand," allowing you to proudly display the dramatic "Love Detective Chika" logo!
