Consequently, Kaiyodo, the organizer of Japan's largest garage kit exhibition, "WONDER FESTIVAL 2021 [Fall]," was forced to make the difficult decision to cancel the event less than a month before its scheduled opening, prioritizing the safety of all participants.
In addition to apologizing to participants and explaining the cancellation, the organizers have officially announced an alternative: "WONDER FESTIVAL 2021 [Fall] ONLINE." This virtual exhibition and immediate sales event will utilize the "eventos" platform and take place on October 9, 2021. This ensures that both sculptors' dealer booths and corporate booths will still have the opportunity to showcase and sell their creations.

Refund applications, participation registrations, and one-day license applications are currently being processed at an accelerated pace. However, due to the limited preparation time, all applications must be submitted by September 10th. Regarding the one-day license issue, which was a concern for dealers, some licenses have been confirmed transferable for use in "WONDER FESTIVAL 2021 [Fall] ONLINE." For those whose licenses cannot be transferred or who choose not to participate in the online exhibition, exhibition and license fees will be progressively refunded starting September 30th.
"WONDER FESTIVAL 2021 [Fall] ONLINE" is scheduled to run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM JST on October 9th. A dedicated exhibition website will be announced as soon as registration processing is complete. Don't forget to mark your calendars for this grand event, collectors!
