BANDAI SPIRITS' Tamashii Nations, under its next-generation action figure line "NXEDGE STYLE," previously released popular "Digimon" figures including Omegamon, Alphamon, and Gallantmon. Now, they are re-releasing Omegamon with a special paint application as the "Omegamon -Special Color Ver.-," slated for December 2021.
First appearing in the 2000 theatrical film "Digimon Adventure: Our War Game!", the incredibly popular Holy Knight-type (Super) Ultimate Digimon, Omegamon, is a Royal Knight born from the fusion of Tai and Matt's partners, WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon. This fusion is powered by the collective will and desire for peace from people. Omegamon embodies the characteristics of both Ultimate Digimon, wielding the invincible "Grey Sword" inscribed with "ALL DELETE" on its left arm and unleashing the absolute zero "Garuru Cannon" from its right. Its massive cape automatically unfurls when dodging attacks or flying.
The "NXEDGE STYLE [DIGIMON UNIT] Omegamon -Special Color Ver.-" boasts excellent sculpting, articulation, and unique proportions. Based on the 2016 release, this version features intricate paint applications on its left and right arms, as well as its feet. The inner lining of its cape has also been upgraded with a metallic finish, enhancing the figure's visual density and presence. It comes with two effect parts, "Slash" and "Shot," along with adjustable eye parts and a dedicated display stand, allowing collectors to recreate dynamic battle scenes from the anime and capture Omegamon's magnificent and heroic form.
