Japanese toy company Kenelephant recently announced several new capsule toy releases slated for December 2021. This article brings you the exciting details on Kenelephant's collaboration with Japanese artist Kohei Ogawa for the "Animal Friends Miniature Collection"!
Following the popular "Green Cow Garden" blind box series, fans of Kohei Ogawa's work can once again get their hands on his charming miniature creations at an accessible price point. This new capsule toy series, produced in collaboration with Kenelephant, features six different animals: a bear, hedgehog, pig, dog, goat, and cat. Each figure showcases Ogawa's uniquely adorable, anthropomorphic style, exuding a truly heartwarming charm. The figures' body shapes and proportions are reminiscent of his signature needle-felted sculptures, featuring vacant, side-glancing eyes and naturally drooping hands that convey an innocent, carefree aura. This collection offers a distinct visual appeal compared to characters from his classic "BG Bear" and "Green Cow Garden" lines, making them an absolute must-have for collectors.
For the "Animal Friends Miniature Collection" capsule toys, both the bear and goat figures come in two different color variations. This means while there are six distinct animals, collectors can look forward to collecting a total of eight unique styles!
